FAQ
What moment should we choose for our live wedding painting?
We can discuss and figure out what makes the most sense for y'all! We'll take into consideration what moment will have the most meaning to you long term.
Popular options are: a prayer moment, first kiss, moment right after I do, a dip kiss down the aisle, first dance or private posed moment in front of your favorite spot on the venue.
We will also consider what you want showcased I.e your altar space, a certain chandelier during your first dance, your veil, a stained glass window, a beautiful view of your venues landscape....so many possibilites!
Do you finish the painting at the wedding?
By the end of the wedding, your painting will be very well established, and to some eyes it will look finished....BUT I really feel that each painting deserves more time post wedding to ensure the best quality and detail that I can give and that you deserve!
Lauren is booked for your date.
now what?
This happens sometimes. I wish this was not the case, BUT you have options!
I create post wedding paintings based off of a favorite photo and would still love to create something beautiful for y'all!
If you are set on a live wedding painter experience, I totally understand and can give you a couple of great recommendations of other live wedding painters you may love too.
what about my guests?
Yes, please! On top of you having a precious moment painted and displayed in your home... having a live wedding painter is guest entertainment!
Your guests will have something to watch as they wait in line at the bar, take a break from the dance floor, or for no other reason than to stop and admire the process throughout the night.
I love interacting with guests whether directly or from a far. A sweet interaction, watching a jaw drop, a pointed "wow" moment, a smile and nod and even tears...
I LOVE IT
CAN WE ADD PASSED LOVED ONES, PETS OR ADDITIONAL LOVED ONES?
Absolutely! Any detailed additional loved ones will be $100 a piece.
Your live wedding painting includes the newlyweds (2 people). If others are included in the painting, they will be more gestural and less focused than the couple at no additional cost.
What is your most popular size painting?
The 16x20 or 18x24 are my most popular. A great happy medium- not too small, not too big.
The 24x30 or 24x36 are great if you want a statement piece.
I recommend the next time you are at Home Goods, Hobby Lobby or Target...go to their art or canvas aisle and get your eyes and hands on the different sizes. Another great way to decide is to tape together some paper to size at home and tape it to the area(s) you envision hanging your painting.
